MCCI Business School has officially launched the prestigious programmes of the University of London (UOL), marking a transformative milestone in higher education in Mauritius.
The announcement of MCCI Business School’s status as a Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC) of the University of London was made on Thursday, 12th of December, at the school’s campus. The event was attended by Mr. Goran Mandic, British Deputy High Commissioner to Mauritius, Mr. Huns Biltoo, President of MCCI Business School, members of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), and representatives from education regulatory bodies.
In his address, the CEO of MCCI Business School, Toriden Chellapermal, highlighted the new dimensions this collaboration brings to the institution’s educational mission.
“This partnership with the University of London – a globally recognised pioneer in distance education – strengthens the MCCI Business School’s presence in the education sector in Mauritius. As a Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC) of the University of London, MCCI Business School offers training programmes aimed at academic excellence with flexible learning options to enhance employability.”
The key programs launched include:
- Global MBA: Offered in partnership with Queen Mary, University of London, and designed for future leaders.
- BSc Data Science and Business Analytics: Developed by the London School of Economics, equipping graduates for a data-driven world.
- BSc Accounting & Finance: Also offered by the London School of Economics, providing excellence in financial education.
- International Foundation Programme (IFP): A pathway for young learners to access higher education and global opportunities.
The British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Goran Mandic, praised MCCI Business School’s commitment to delivering international quality education aligned with market needs and graduate employability.

The event also featured a talk by Mr. Ali Mansoor, an alumnus of LSE, on the theme: “Mauritius: Seizing Opportunities from the Emerging World Order.” The session provided valuable insights into opportunities available to Mauritius in the current geopolitical context.
