The Webcup Junior, an exciting initiative launched in Mauritius by FINAM (Federation of Innovative and Digital Activities in Mauritius) in partnership with the Webcup Association of Reunion, Objectivity (a part of Accenture), MCCI Business School, Unity Mauritius, SPV Mauritius, and other key players in the digital sector, offers a unique opportunity to young talents. Designed as the younger sibling of the 24h by Webcup, a hackathon for adults that has been shining since 2013 by showcasing digital professions throughout the Indian Ocean region, the Webcup Junior aims to stimulate the creativity of young competitors, both girls and boys, from Grades 7 to 13.

As the host of the event, MCCI Business School is proud to have welcomed this dynamic competition that allowed the young talents of our school community to dive into the captivating world of digital technology. By providing a conducive environment for learning and creativity, our school created an ideal setting for participants from Grades 7 to 13 to take on the exciting challenge of developing a website in HTML and CSS in just 5 hours.

We firmly believe in the importance of supporting such initiatives that foster digital skills development and encourage innovation among the youth. MCCI Business School remains committed to playing an active role in digital education and providing a platform for the growth of future leaders in the sector. We are honoured to have been the venue for this stimulating competition and look forward to continuing to support such initiatives in the future.
